Dany Minaker was born and raised in Argentina. He is a multi-award-winning creative with 20 years of experience working with global brands. He was named one of the Best Top 20 Chief Creative Officers in the World by The Drum and “Creative Industry influencer of the year” by Creativepool.
His work has won at all the festivals around the world, amassing over 100 awards at Cannes Lions, including 2 Innovation Grand Prix Awards in 2021 and 2023 with Unilever, Degree Inclusive and Augmenthal’s Mouthpad.
Dany has created some of the most recognized advertising campaigns of Latam, achieving significant cultural relevance. His work has driven the local and global growth of important brands such as Coca-Cola, Movistar, Unilever, Amazon, Nestlé, Heinz, and Nike, among others.
IIn September 2015, Dany and his creative partner Patán joined Wunderman Buenos Aires, elevating the agency from 34th to 1st place in the local creativity rankings (source: agencyScope, Círculo de Creativos Argentinos). In 2017, they were promoted to Latam Chief Creative Officers, expanding their work to all regional offices, spreading their creative vision and making the Wunderman Thompson network the most awarded at Cannes Lions, New York Festival, Gerety Awards, LIA, and Epica.
In 2022, the duo moved to Miami and took on the role of Global Executive Creative Directors at Wunderman Thompson for The Coca-Cola Company. During this period, TCCC became the biggest client of the network.
In 2024, after the VML merger, they assumed creative leadership at VML Miami, working for both the Hispanic and general U.S. markets, delivering outstanding work for brands such as Wendy’s, GMCVB, FCA, and Sherwin-Williams.
Over the past 18 years, Patán and Dany have been creative partners and have also made their mark at BBDO Argentina, Del Campo Saatchi & Saatchi, Vega Olmos Ponce (Lowe), and Ogilvy Argentina.
Their work has been highly recognized at the main ad-festivals, including Cannes Lions, One Show, Clio Awards, EFFIE Awards, D&AD, NY Festival, ADC, Project Isaac Awards, LIA, Sol Festival, Smarties, EPICA Awards, IAB, Webby Awards, FWA, ANDY, FIAP, Wave, Ojo de Iberoamérica, El Diente, and +DIGITAL, among others, winning over 700 awards in the past 5 years.
